Gaining insight about YOU in any aspect of your life will help you identify patterns that can lead to actions.

Why I Created This Journal

At one point in my life I had two to three jobs at any given time while also trying to make time for friends and family. It was exhausting!

In the beginning I had multiple jobs to get out of debt and later in life I had businesses or passion project that I was trying to start up. Four hours of sleep was the norm, along with poor eating, and the feeling of exhaustion.

I was just trying to do all the things. Not to mention, some of those years included grad school and other multi week courses. It was banana pants. I was repeated told that I had rightfully earned my half Jamaican status.

By asking myself the questions I’ve included in this journal and taking action I was able to get debt free and have a successful career. And along the way I managed to keep my sanity.

I currently have a demanding 9 to 5 job, but I also balance two podcast, content creation, social media, travel, crafting, keeping my home CLEAN, and making time for friends and family (this includes a small dog).

Using self reflection and organization techniques I am able to do the things I love. I continue to work on areas like health and adventure, but because of the techniques I use I understand self and I can honestly say I am happy.

I did a podcast on the 10 Steps To Improve Your Life. The response to that episode led me to believe that you also struggle to maintain balance and make space for the things you love.

Additionally, while working with a few individuals last year, I realized that most people are struggling with similar issues. They know that something needs to change—family, work, health, etc.—but they can’t identify what exactly they need to do to maintain balance.

I’ve created a journal, The Life Cleanse, that will focus on self discovery and give you a better understanding of where your time is going.
